Hey anyone know if this is a Aldabra or Galop? This chinese seller was advertising the tortoise. The neck looks really strange to me.

I'm no expert, but seeing from the very smooth shell, it should be under good care.

This is irreverent to the topic but I was wondering how you have ploughshare tortoises. Thanks -Ben

To me the larger wider head is what made me think galop. Personally, I think the galop faces are not as nice and cute/sweet looking as the Aldabras. Also, the Galops seem to have bigger sunken eyes. I'm an Aldabra fan over the galop:)

I would be willing to bet that is a picture of tortoise statuary. Look at the eye. And the head shape isn't right for Galop or Aldab, either one.

It has to be the tortoise is in the exact same pose to scale of the tile in both pics. I never seen a tortoise that wouldnt move what so ever while fully standing.

This makes me think it's a fake too. But from this angle the head doesn't look anything like the Chinese sellers picture.
