hello evreyone i hope you are haveing a wonderfulld ay and wondering if you can help me with something. i am trying to find the perfect diet for my eastern hermann tortoise and i came acroos something called Tlady. i did some reserch and it is suposed to be a mix of tortoise safe plants that you can get and mix to feed your tortoise. i dont really know what it is and wondering if any of you guys use it and were could i buy it? also if you have any planats that i can by seeds for to give my tortoise please let me know. thatnks for you help Charlie.

The website (herbiseed) that sold it seems to be defunct.

I'm pretty sure there is an issue shipping weed seeds into Canada - this is the only into-Canada mixes I've found, but they're mostly grass:

it on some other wbsite for tortoise but if you search up Tlady seed mix it will come up. jsut a heads up though it says the website is down right now. and all i can find for weeds and flowers in my backyard are just dandelions and grass so for food charlie is getting grocry store food. and a nerserry wont sell seeds for weeds becuse no one wants to plants weeds in there garden.

In the grocery produce department look for mature greens: collards, curly or belgian endive, dandelion, beet tops (not the roots)...the larger, darkest colored leaves and mature stems contain the most nutrition and fiber.

i jsut found out from there shipping information that they do ship to cannada! im so exited becuse it looks like a great mix of foods for my little tort. all the reveiws said there tortoise adore it. thank you so much for the recommendation and may i ask how did you find this do you use it or?

okay i will keep a look out for thosse. im trying to make sure charlie is on a good diet becuse she is growing so much!

It's pretty widely recommended at TFO. (We live in a rural area, so "weeds" everywhere.)

okay well thank you so much i really aprishiate im jsut wondering do you use it? im trying to deside if im going to plant it in a pot or if im gonna go and get a planter rom the store. just one more thing do you know how to take the leaves off when theyve grown to you cut them or just grab them with your hands to feed to your tort?

If you pinch off individual leaves, then the plant will keep growing.

Weeds generally like large well-draining containers, not small pots, and outdoor conditions. Let them germinate into wee plantlets in shade then move them to more sunny conditions as they develop and get stronger. Lots of weeds tolerate (or even prefer) the partial shade under or beside trees.
