What species?just wondering I have fitted a heat mat with thermostat in sleeping area cause my house gets very cold what temp should It be
I would go with no lower than 80f if he's a baby and if he's adult u can probably go down to 70 but I'm not an expert on hermannshermann
Yes [emoji1]just checking you know I mean at night right
I would not use a heat mat for a tortoise. If you need night heat, use a radiant heat panel or ceramic heating element mounted over head and controlled by a thermostat.hermann
I would never use bought-in-a-bag soil. You can't know what composted material it is made of. Could be something toxic or dangerous. I prefer coco coir for smaller Testudo, and then I switch to fine grade orchid bark once they reach about 4 inches. I like a layer about 3-4" deep when damp and hand compacted.by the way is there something I can use as bedding along with topsoil substrate
what if it was recommended for tortoises
what should I do
