What substrate do UK sulcata owners use?

Hi everyone,
I have a 2 year old Sulcata and use Tortoise Life for his substrate.... now I know they arent the best smelling pets bet I am not convinced this is the best substrate for him.
What do other Sulcata owners use?

I'm using orchid bark, seems to be the most recommended. Whereabouts are you? I'm in Cambridgeshire.
