In my tortoise's enclosure, I use a terra cotta plant saucer as a water dish, but because the material is porous, the water slowly soaks in, eventualy hitting the bottom of the enclosure, and starts to grow white mold stuff. How can I get this to stop? Would glazing the inside help, and if so what kind of glaze would be safe to use for animals?
Thank you in advance :tort:

You'll need a kiln to do a proper glaze on a ceramic dish. It would be easier and cheaper to run to the 99cents store or Walmart and pick up a cheap, already glazed dish.
