what wood can I use for a tortoise enclosure?

I bought an enclosure for my tortoise it is made of pine but unfortunately is to small. I want to build him one that is around 4ft long. my tort is only 10 months old/

i agree with wellington as plywood is fairly cheap,durably, and can handle a little bit of water, Good luck with your build
