I know they all grow a different rates but I am curious to see if anyone tracks there Sulcatas weight growth & what they gain weekly/ monthly

Harper is just shy of 9 months & weighed in today at 389 g. Last week she was 360.....

Since I have been tracking: Got her/him on 3/8/14
4-6-14 317
4-17-14 337
4-25-14 360
5/1/14 389

I have old records somewhere, but your is doing great! That is nice steady gain, the carapace looks great, and that is a great weight for that age.

You get an A+ for sulcata tortoise raising.

Thanks Tom! I attribute any success to all I have read on here for sure. This is Harpers enclosed chamber I built off of your designs :)

I take the tort and the plants out, (nice Ponytail Palm) and pour boiling hot water over the substrate, dead boiled bugs are the result...

My Darwin is 2 years old and about 10 1/2 pounds, she is about 12 1/2'' long. For the last year she has been averaging about a pound a month.
