Whats the best heat sources for horsefields?

As I am still doing research in order to prepare for my baby:<3::) I am just wondering what brands of heat lamp is best? Also, should i get a 5% UVB or more? Thank you:tort:

I prefer to use the Mercury Vapor Bulbs (100 watt) for my 'sunny' type of tortoises. The MVB provides heat and UVB all in one bulb/fixture. If you are getting a baby tortoise, then you'll probably need a Ceramic Heat Emitter (CHE) to use at night.

Just out of interest because I'm in the process of purchasing a MVB myself, at what distance would it be placed from the enclosure just because I wouldn't want tomharm my tort in any way.

I have this one ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1398606521.762218.jpg comes with a 2 year guarantee as well. In England not sure I would use any other make other than Arcadia they are expensive in local pet shop asking £67.99 I bought it on amazon for £39.
