I know I have posted previusly about this, but I'm still not sure which bulb to get for my new Burmese brown. Here are the candidates:
1. Zoomed t5 HO 5.0 strip bulb about 14-15 inches away from tortoise. Will be diluted through a metal screen, and heavy plant cover in the enclosure.
2. Zoomed t8 5.0 strip bulb. About 10 inches from tort, not diluted by screen, but will have heavy plant cover in enclosure.
3. Zoomed t8 10.0 strip bulb. 14-15 inches from tort, diluted through screen and heavy plant cover in enclosure.
I understand everyone's situation is different , just looking for some ideas from what others are doing in their own enclosures. I don't want to stress the tort with too much light, but don't want to deprive him of necessary UVB. Sorry for the redundancy in posts.
