white spot on eastern hermanns tortoise head

hello!
i have a year and a half old eastern hermanns torotise and i’ve noticed a white spot above his ear, that isn’t normal, ( i’ll ask pictures) not sure if it’s an abscess or skin, i will make a vet appointment as soon as it’s open again ( holidays right now ) but i wanted to see what everyone else would say on here !

any help is appreciated !!

Looks fine to me. Nothing to worry about scale might have just came off.

no, but he does like to climb around a lot and usually gets himself into sticky situations, the one thing i could think of his maybe he scraped his head against the wooden hide ?

Probably something like that.
Keep an eye on that area for a while. And if it looks no worse, don't worry about it.
