hi we just got a 9 month old cherry head red foot, and this week we noticed some white spots at the bottom of his shell (his under belly?) i'm concerned it might be some kind of fungus or rot. his substrate might be too moist?

please help! we're very new at this

This looks like shell rot, should be easy to treat with antifungal cream (the kind people use for althetes foot), but you may also need to look into your substrate (if you are using the right kind and if you are keeping it too wet)

Fairly common. Try to keep the top layer of substrate dry while moist on the bottom layers. I know its a trial an error trying to make sure the humidity is just right. Good luck! Nothing a lil cream wont fix
