Why is my sulcata's mouth always black

I don't know what's wrong. His mouth is usually always black or dark in color. How can I get that back to normal? :(

Picture?

Probably eating poo or just dirty, but a picture would be beneficial in ruling out a problem such as mouth rot.

How bad is that for them? I'm not home most of the day...so I haven't caught him doing that.

It's most likely eating it's poop. nothing wrong with it, disgusting to us, normal to them.
