WILD hibiscus??

This plant had big beautiful red flowers just a couple weeks ago that looked like hibiscus flowers. Obviously the leaves are very different than the plants in my yard. Anyone recognize it?

It looks like hibiscus coccineaus. my tortoises eat the leaves and blooms, there is also a white bloom variety.
