This is not me but one of my neighbors to the north. Looks like a Russian tort. Hope Waffle can return home safely as soon as possible.

Most lost tortoise stories here. The vast majority in fact. Have happy endings.
Hopefully it will be found.
Most tortoises didn't travel very far and where found dug in under some bushes.
