Ok, one of my new, larger females had been very reclusive, and eating sparingly for the past couple weeks since i had her. The only thing she ate hardily was mazuri, go figure. Anyhoo, today i had a chat with her, be it as it may....20 mins after my pep talk, BAM! Shes chompin down! (A lil raspberry rubbed on a mushroom did the trick)

She wasn't not eating at all so I wasn't really worried but of all the new torts she has been by far the one eating the least and is also one of the largest, so I was getting ever so slightly concerned.

*sigh of relief*

Happy papa here :D

That is awesome news. Congrats! Now, if I could just get mine to eat. :/

I know what that means. Irish jig happy dance. I had a drama last year - which is how I found this forum, so it was all good - with my two Greeks who would not eats. Finally, two months almost, I kid you not, they were living off of baby food soaks almost exclusively, they ate and were "normal" slash acclimated finally! It was a day of relief. Like huge. So happy for ya! Yay! : )
