I love tortoise table but I’m horrible at properly ID’ing plants. Any idea what these are?

Wow. I am from a very dry area so let me be VERY clear I don’t know anything much about plants in Maryland.

The stuff with the purple flowers is a violet or viola: safe.

The yellow flower is a buttercup; opinions vary. Fed by quite a few testudo (dry/desert tortoise) owners, I won’t speak to a redfoot.

Your second picture in the second post is a dead nettle or henbit; not sure which. Fine in moderation.

I am not very good with plantains. They grow in damp grassy conditions; I don’t find them outside of fertilized lawns so I don’t pay attention. That actually looks like something in the dandelion/chicory family to me but that’s just a guess.
