So yesterday was the first time I put them in different enclosure because I was starting to really get worried. So for about the first 30 minutes of putting them in that enclosure they were just trying to climb out. After a while the one that has been eating once in a while started to eat strawberries and some vegetables but that was it. The other that I hadn't seen eat in a few weeks actually ate a little bit of vegetables from can food so that was good.i seen your other thread and got the impression you feed him in a different enclosure ? if that is the case , that can be a part of the problem …………. if I ever bring a turtle in from outside hibernation for some reason , they never want to eat , they just want to hide ….. I just take them out every morning and put them in their water dish under a mercury vapor lamp , and leave them alone , they always soak a bit and then go hide . when I get home from work I empty their water dish so the water is shallow , I remove the rock so they can't get out , put a few worms in with them and some pellet food , I use koi or cichlid food , after 1/2 hour i'll put the rock back in and put some food on their path back to where they hide ……… I do this until they start to eat ……. these are turtles that have lived outside all their lives , they can go years without ever being handled , they are very timid and just coming out of hibernation …… that method has never really failed me that I can recall ……..
