yellow little flowers with clovers

there is little yellow flowers the size of a finger with 5 peddles and has clover type weeds all around it i don't know if it's good or bad for tortoise i can't get a picture because i do not have a camera but by that description anybody know what it is and if it's good or bad

It sounds like oxalis. Wherever it grows in my pasture the horses won't eat there. I don't know if its toxic or just doesn't taste good.

k thanks im pretty sure thats what it is now ii just won't let my tortoise near it

Its hard to eradicate because it forms seed pods almost immediately upon sprouting into a plant. Its fairly easy to pull up, but be sure to get the whole plant and all the seed pods.

As far as i am aware Oxalis isn't toxic as such but is high in Oxalic acid
