Hey, newbie here. I recently got a Yellow-Scaled Tortoise (two days ago), and she hasn't eaten since. She drank plenty of water the first day, and her energy levels are great. She is an estimated 5 years old. So, should I worry or try to put pieces of food on her mouth to coax her to eat? She is getting plenty of sunlight and I take her outside twice a day. I also make sure that she gets to soak. I am giving her plenty of vegetables and a few fruits so that she can have her pick. Her name is Annie btw :) Here is a pic:IMG_20200714_080840.jpg
This is my first time owning a tortoise (I've only had aquatic turtles before)

Your "yellow scaled tortoise" is actually really called a redfooted tortoise, or geochelone carbonaria. Actually, if you'll give me a better picture of the face right above the nose, he just might be a yellowfooted tortoise, or geochelone denticulatis.

It sometimes takes a couple weeks for tortoises to settle into a new place and start eating. I wouldn't worry yet.
