I have an old school 80 gal long. I have my supplies, just going to look for some "pond" wood or drift wood to make it as natural as possible. I will get photos as soon as I get it set up. In the mean time. What do your tanks look like? Pictures would be awesome!

I don't like the wood trim around the top. I plan to paint that black.

Little turtle is a peninsula cooter. I bought him off craigslist when he was just a wee little thing.

Where did you get your rocks for the basking area?

Your tank is beautiful! I like the goldfish. What filter do you use and do you recommend it! I am filter shopping :)

Mine has the wood trim too. Let me know how painting it goes.

The rocks are from a quarry/lumber yard.
I use the FX5 in this tank. My water is always crystal clear and I even feed them inside the tank. I love it...just love it!

I bought the fx5 about a year ago. I haven't heard that they no longer make it...I don't see why they would stop. I also use the fluval 305 and 405 for my 125gal goldfish tank. Those are older models yet still made and sold in stores.
