Yummy worm

This is a female Erosa who sat patiently waiting for me to see her and give her some of the earthworms I was giving her enclosure mate. Normally, it's a mad rush to see who can get the worms first.

Maybe if I just sit here patiently...

Of course, once the worms appear, there is no patience before trying to inhale them.

Hmmm where should I grab this worm at?

What a pretty blonde head she has! Is Erosa a turtle or tortoise species?

The Hingebacks are tortoises. Yes, worms are indeed one of their candy like favorites. I love using worms to get many stubborn Hingebacks feeding because they usually do like them, the movements of the worms catch their attention and the slimey worm bodies are great to coat with things like various powders.
