On November 26, 2018 I found a nest of hatching leopard tortoises. November is pretty cold around here and the babies in the nest were ice cold. I have no idea why they didn't just wait in the ground until the earth warmed up around them, but hatch they did. I decided to keep Zipper:

And here he is exactly 3 months later:

He's 3" front to back and slightly pyramided. He lives in a warm, humid closed chamber with no incandescent or desiccating heat/lights. We'll see if the pyramiding gets worse as he grows.

Glad you kept that one. I think, specially with Bab leopards, zero pyramiding is almost impossible. I think not have the desiccating lights and closed chamber, high humidity keeps it down to what your seeing and probably wont get much worse. I just think it's really really hard to get a perfectly smooth Bab.

I took more pictures this a.m. Here's Zipper today:

I wish my camera took better close-up pictures. If you notice the electrical outlet on the wall, it's perfectly focussed, but the picture's subject is blurry.
