I purchased the Zoo Med Turtle Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamp 6 weeks ago and it went today :( I am starting not to like Zoo Med bulbs of any type. My Powersuns never last. I am bummed nothing out of ordinary happened today. It just went. Does anyone else have the same problem with the turtle heat light?

I am getting ready to switch from Powersun bulbs to the long tubes but I am now leary of any Zoo Med products now. I was planning on using the Splashproof bulb along with the tubes for Myrtle instead of the Powersun but now I don't trust any of their bulbs.Am I getting bad eggs or does everyone else feel my pain?

I love my trusty CHE that is what I put it temporarily but I love that you use it for the basking heat. It will last forever and I don't have to worry about it breaking . Thanks so much ! I am going to follow in your footsteps here.

I use a regular incandescent 60w bulb. Gives heat and light, works a great. And cheap.
