Hello, joined here today just get advice. Live in condo community. None of my neighbors lost this guy. There is a pond about 300 yards from the community guess he could have come from there and then under front gate and crawled through my garage into my backyard! Anyway should I just roll the dice he came from that pond and take him there and let him loose? Would he survive? Should I try to find a Reptile Rescue? He likes sleeping under a leave pile I made for him. I put him in an old cat litter box with 4 inches of water and some kale and strawberries each day but he wont eat. Prefers to wait till I am not looking an get out of the water! Any suggestions?

Chances are someone let it go in the pond. Sadly that's what too many uneducated do when they no longer want them. They are not native to your area, so I would find a rescue

I agree with Wellington. Thanks for trying to help the turtle!
