Absolutely. We were out here in south central PA for 2.5 hours. Low to mid 60's outside but carapace 86deg at the lowest in the direct sun. When they get bigger they maintain heat much, much better than when smaller.

Definitely gonna be rough, nights here are alr dropping into the 40's and he's definitely gonna throw fits wondering why he can't go outside for the next 4 months
