I've started to get mold in the enclosure. Primarily on the driftwood and wood pieces. I haven't added more water since humidity is averaging at 86%. Should I just remove the wood pieces and place rocks or something instead? I also have cypress mulch mixed with coconut coir on one side of the...

Ok, had some black tape around so covered the vents and the side of the glass with the wires and it made a huge difference! Went from 70 to 80% humidity. Thanks for the help!

Hi,Thank you!! My temperature is set with a thermometer around 80 and my humidity is over 70 (fluctuates between 70 and 75%). I'm hoping adding a plant will help with the humidity even more. I've been pouring water in the corners once to twice a day.

Updated my redfoot enclosure after advice from the forum. Pretty happy with the result :) Got an animal plastics 2' by 4' enclosure. What a change in the humidity and heat! Artemis seems happy with it. Next steps: LED light strip, live plant, potentially covering bottom portion of glass.

Ok am starting to look into the animal plastics enclosure. Will have to figure out humidity in the mean time and am working on changing temp and uvb in my current set up. How do you hang light fixtures in the animal plastics enclosures? I'll lower my temp and humidity sensor.

Hmmm might have been something wrong with Amazon...it was similar to what you sent on Chewy. But it came with a 5.0 light, sounds like a 10.0 is easier to manage with placing higher than the mesh. I'm working on changing and ordering everything within this next week! I'll try to report back once...

Ok, this makes sense...looking into options for covering the enclosure. Will start with the aluminm foil to start and then looking up some green house covers on amazon. Considering just getting like a greenhouse film for more longterm. Is this what you were thinking for UVB...
