    Just wanted to say thank you again, the LEDs arrive yesterday and I fitted them today with also doing 9-2 UVB - and hes been much more energetic so think it also works for him so there's no chance of overheating!

    Perfect thank you ive ordered some strip lights and will do the 9-2 uvb light! His temps do drop much lower over night and he has his cool hide, when i touch his shell hes never extremely hot - point of overheating hes always a nice warm temperature!

    Hes currently got 4 vents, 2 of which the covers have been taken off. His basking spot is around 20cm high roughly, weve tried a lower wattage bulb but find he doesnt gave a "satisfying" bask

    Thats what im thinking! Ive made sure its the right consistency before putting it in and everything and the stringy bits are just so apparent, we do have orchid bark chips too which weve put mainly around his food/water bowls so accidental ingestion doesnt happen!
