Finally decided on a set up for my tort its going to be 8ft x 3ft (just while he grows into his adult body and then we'll adapt with this) its going to be a big change as hes going from a 3.77ft vivarium.

Just wanted to say thank you again, the LEDs arrive yesterday and I fitted them today with also doing 9-2 UVB - and hes been much more energetic so think it also works for him so there's no chance of overheating!
Perfect thank you ive ordered some strip lights and will do the 9-2 uvb light!
His temps do drop much lower over night and he has his cool hide, when i touch his shell hes never extremely hot - point of overheating hes always a nice warm temperature!
