bought The Boy a bearded dragon after many years of nagging and many months of research.
spent next couple of months constantly in his room staring at Spike, playing with him, and just fascinated with something that you previously would have never seen anywhere near the house.
due to The Boy getting a tad peeved at me constantly being in his room, The Enemy (my ever suffering wife, it is a term of affection) got me my own.
sadly, Stumpy passed a few weeks back (still no idea why as he seemed to be in good health and wasn't very old) and i've had a mini hole in my life which i needed filling. not wanting to "replace" Stumpy, i've gone down the route of a tortoise. not a quick decision, it is something i've yearned for many a year, but never got around to.
so i now have Marvin. he's a Horsefield, seems to be known as a Russian here, and he is only a baby. not entirely sure of his exact age, i reckon around 6 months. it is the one thing i didn't actually ask the supplier. i was too busy answering HIS questions about my set up and how prepared i was.
so yes, that's about that.
