I am a single mother with an 8 year old son. We live in NWA in a very rural town. I live outside city limits in a mobile home on about 5 acres. I spend the spring and summer months working my garden and tending my flower beds. I spent 4 years taking care of a three toed box turtle that hatched near my front door. She had an outdoor enclosure that was 8’ x 4’ and and indoor aitituvin enclosure for the winter months. Recently an unforeseen tragedy involving raccoons took my Rosie from me. I have taken care of the raccoon problem and taken measures to install a top to the outdoor enclosure so it won’t happen again. Looking to adopt a tortoise to help ease the grief and get my moneys worth from all the enclosures and things I bought for Rosie.
