I got a small heat mat but is it ok to stick it on top of the wood with hay over it or does that prove a potential fire hazard

Yes hes very small for his age

I've had him his entire life ( he was a few months old. Still a hatchling) and the corner hes in in the picture is where I move him cause it's the heat side, hes usually by the window where its coldest

While here I wanna know if this is a good diet for him. Carrots, radishes, celery, cucumber, and moistened pellets ( I know his diet should be mostly grasses but its winter . And the maintenance people half soaked everything in bleach )

Just a heat rocks and a 150w heat light off to the side

Uhhh I dont have those temps. I just know its 150w bulb, the nights get very cold ( house has awful insulation) and yes they're heat rocks. I've heard of them burning reptiles but I thought since hes mostly shell and thick skin hed be fine ( I'm 16 I cant afford nice things )
