Allright i'll try close it down,
lately he's not eating at all though, can last 2 days without touching any of the food.
I've been using that enclosure for 3month, the last month is when he started eating very few like 1 pellet in 2 day and sleep all day
It's been 3 weeks with the lethargy, he just slept all day in the enclosure and only moved around if i put him under the sun.
Usually after 15minute he would get up and look for cooler place under shadow.
In the enclosure if i moved him, he would go back to the hiding spot.
I've tried lower...
I used thermometer gun, in my place at night it's still warm. Since i use a bulb, at night the lowest is 85-86* in his hiding spot, under the bulb usually 105*
I soak it with warm water at least 30minute everyday under morning sunlight
Usually he ate a lot after the bath, but these past week he...
Well i tried pretty much every temp. 85 all enclosure, 90-100* (90 being the lowest), up it to 105* and he just sleep in his hidding cave. I tried move him and he would just move back to the cave.
I soak him every morning under sunlight.
The inactivity has been over a week now.
I tried taking...
So a week have passed and he is still eating very few and sleep around all day, is it possible he is hibernating? Not sure what to do now.
He still poop when i give him a bath, and he kept looking for cool(er) place when i put him under sunlight
The nose bubble is only came out when it's rain outside so if it;s rain usually i put an extra che heater, but i havent see the nose bubble at all anymore even it's rain, just lethargy right now.
The temps usually always is 85 at lowest and basking at 100, here's hoping he'll get better soon.
Updates:
So i took him/her to a vet and did a xray, according to the doctor his/her internal organs are fine but there are sign of constipation so he told me to soak him longer each day and the skin peeling on the face might be a problem and told me to put some special dermatologist shampop for...
I havent weight him, but i''ll get right to it when i can, he's about 4-5months old i think. To be honest i dont think the breeder really raised himwell since the first weeks i got him he was having bubbles in his nose, but that's gone now after i soak him daily and putting higher temp for days...
Yes his eyes is closed a lot of times, i lived in indonesia (the profile edit seems to be in error, i've tried to changed it plenty of times before). I lived in the main city so it's pretty warm here. I put him outside directly under sunlight, the floor was really warm borderline hot though...
About a week ago, my sulcata started eating very few. He barely touch the vegetables that i gave him.
His condition & routine is like this:
-> Sunbathing with warm water bathing for soaking at 8 am. He usually and still active during this, he walks around the tub and take a dump in the water.
->...
Is soil a bad substrate for sulcata? I'm currently using soil and coco bark as a substrate for mine because i rode at your guide to use "coco coir, orchid bark, cypress mulch, plain additive free soil, or yard dirt". If so, im gonna change it into fully coco bark/coco husk
