Tractor Supply has grass specifically for shade. I believe it is a mix of rye grass.

i agree with leigti. I had the same problem with mine flipping over and that's what I did.

I am also interested in the endophyte in the grass on the tortoise. I know it doesn't seem to bother the deer.
