Hi Alex,.firstly I cant apologise enough for not replying. Ive just clicked a link on Google about a different subject on the forum and just seen your reply in my notification box. I feel really rude not replying, especially after you writing all that for me. The coleus in your second picture is...
It's between 19" and 20". Its a arcadia t5 12%. I feel really bad on @Alex and the Redfoot. He always gets tagged in my posts. He wouldn't believe how much he's helped me tranform my Vivarium. Such a nice guy! And don't think I dont appreciate the help you have also given me in the past. Ive...
Hi,
I grow all my own plants and have grown some Violas and Coleus painted nettle plants. I plan on keeping them out of reach, as my fella likes to play games with me and shred every plant I put it. I put 3 spider plants in and he didn't just tip them over, no he literally shredded them. The...
I could easily lift it, but ive been considering getting a dimmer. It gives me more control. He lives his new house and ive grown him Violas, painted nettles and a spider plant i already had and he has literally destroyed them and he looked like he just great pleasure in doing it. Ive got some...
Thank you for that. He has messaged me and your totally right. The 12% is fine. I'm just asking about the basking area. He said about 95f and its currently 38.4, So I'm just waiting to see what he says to that and wether I should adjust or not. Again thank you for your help. I really appreciate it!
Thank you for replying. Ive got 3 thermometers. 1 at each end and 1 in the middle. Then basking temperature area is 38.8. Is that far to high do you think?
The height was the same in the old viv i had, but i used 50, but the 75w is keeping the temperature perfect because it's bigger. About 3ft longer. That's what I'm concerned about. If I reduce to 6% and 50w, then how do I increase the temperature. Its confusing me how to do it.
Oh God, sorry! I'm sure it was Alex that said drop down from 12% to 6%, but i wanted to ask about the 75w floodlight UVA. I dont know if that's too strong for the height. They don't make them very tall, at all. Thank you for doing that. I will see if he pops on. I'm not going until 2 - 3pm, so...
Hi,
I'm going to the pet store today. My new viv is 19 inches from substrate to strip. I currently have a 12% t5 UV strip light and a 75w floodlight. They are both Arcadia, but I spoke to someone in here who told me to get a 6%, but I'm not 100% sure. Could anybody give me some advice on what...
On it. It is 12% Desert. I will order a 6% now. I cant stop buying the plants. Every single one of them was 6 inches when I bought them. I used to do bonsai trees, but I got bored of them, but plants in general have always been a secret obsession. Can I just say thank you for all your help...
