l think the second one is a male as its tail looks like it might be curled up to the side, the rest are females from what l see.

I don't think the tortoise should have that much fruit, although it depends on the species. Can you show a picture so we can figure out what to feed it?

I just use a kitchen scale, and l put plastic wrap on to the surface before weighing the tortoise and remove the plastic after, so it's not unhygienic.

The best bedding would be cypress mulch mixed with dirt. She should get an hour outside in the sun. To prevent serious calcium deficiencies, you should give her reptile calcium twice a week in her food. You can get most of this stuff from Flukers and ZooMed including a UVB light which is needed...

I'm so very sorry for your loss, losing these cuties is not easy at all, l still cry when l think of my previous tortoise. It is the vets fault for even thinking about doing anything to your tortoise, she could have admitted she is not a reptile vet.
