    I would just hold onto the chip. Put it in an envelope and tuck it away safe with a picture of it sticking out. If you ever are in trouble you got some back up. I wouldn't get another chip until the tortoise is much bigger.

    Intermediate Red Foot Enclosure.

    We could only have one outside in the summer. There's a guy here who gave his sulcata a bedroom. He takes it to PetSmart in the winter to walk around for exercise. In the summer you can see him walking downtown with his owner. He knows his route. He even waits for walk lights! So smart!

    Thanks so much! I'll check with my son about the moss. Our guy doesn't seem to eat it but hopefully someone who is more of an expert will have an answer weather or not we should use it. It's mostly for moisture. I love salcatas! Not enough room in my house and it's cold here in Canada otherwise...

    We just finished a new enclosure for our red foot tortoise. We don't have a lot of wood working tools and we couldn't find a good option on line.
