My family and I currently have many critters. Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, a tarantula, a bearded dragon, a ball python and 2 parrots. Long story short, we were doing animal rescue. All of our critters were rescued in one way or another. Never has a tortoise crossed our path... until recently. We are "babysitting" a tortoise indefinitely. Morla was found in a friends yard and every attempt was made to find her owners. But no one came forward. So my friend kept her and a few weeks later he fell on hard times and asked us to take Morla for a while. If/when he can take her back, we'll have to work out custody as I have fallen in love!!!
