This is not Hydrated Lime! That is why i posted the specifications. It is natural organic grounded calcium with ingredients on the picture. I am not sure if it is for turtles, that is why i asked! People are using this for horses, pigs or other farm animals, that is what i know.

I agree with you, but this bag 25 kg costs 6€, much easier and faster to do it then egg shells.
