It definitely feels attached to the skin. If I slightly tug on it, his skin comes with it not like something that pulls out easily.

Hello all. I'm looking for some help with my new tortoise. It is a Hermanns I picked up last week. I didn't notice this white "thing" until today. It feels hard, almost like a bone. Can't find any pictures online of anything similar. Any thoughts?
