My wife and I live between Milwaukee and Chicago on Lake Michigan. I have been raising and breeding Sri Lankan Stars, Burmese Stars and Leopard tortoises (babcockii) for many years. I try to only sell my offspring to people who understand their care and requirements. Raising tortoises in the north is definitely a challenge, but very satisfying at the same time.
