    Decays brown Sanke. One of my favorite species! They're relatively docile. They're predominantly insectavor/worm eaters, and eat frogs and such.

    I thought it was a three toe as well, but it's an eastern. I noticed a lot of them close to the river/ beach area have this sandy like shell. I'm not sure if its a color variant or what.

    Gorgeous eastern box turtles I saw on the trail this morning. Appeared to be an older male dominating a juvenile male. He even flared at me when I got close to take a picture. By the time we returned they were going their separate ways. It's cool having pets, but I love seeing them in the wild.
