Yes. I’ve put my hand on the mat when I was becoming familiar with it,,, feels quite/too hot for me to not worry about a tort constantly laying on it. I’ll prob rig up an “air gap” of sorts so nothing is resting on the mat but a tort laying surface is above the pad. Thanks for the reply.
