Won these guys at a fair about 4 months ago and they have seized to amaze the family. We thought they wouldn't last very long because the way they were treating them at the fair was in-humane but these guys have proven to be strong and they are 100% healthy! I have just bought a 75 gallon tank...

These are what i have too and i have had them for about 4 months now *won them from a fair* and they are 100% healthy and active, the Yellow belly is alot more aggressive and will bite your fingers if you hand feed it, while the RES is gentle and layed back.

Separating them won't happen haha! I just bought a 75 gallon tank and they better learn to love each other. Tomorrow i will set up the tank/filter/lights/etc and post pictures.

Thanks guys, usually the smaller one doesn't even notice when i am giving food, he stays at the bottom of the tank when the fatty is always at the top waiting, so i think ill just feed the one floating and wait for the other to come up and feed him by hand.
