Since weed seeds aren't readily available here, and most weeds would probably be toxic ( I live in southeast asia) I provide whatever I can find is safe. The tortoise pen has some safe plants or whatever that's in season from the nurseries ( spider plants, aspleniums, violets, peperomias...

I got gnat sticker from the hardware store. Its just a plain yellow sticky paper. I stapled it to a stick and I planted the stick in the enclosure. Hey Craig, yes they do, they have a large flowerpot dish on the cooler side of the pen, so that water doesn't evaporate faster than they would under the sun. The largest one is around 4.5 inches which the smaller ones around 4. They have been eating really well. They love petunias, young shoots...

Here they are, the one eating is the least shy. They love nettles and aspleniums. They also love young shoots of any flower.
