Oh I see. This would be my mistake in the photo, but I do have a double wood door in the front. The doors were made for our rabbit before so it was a wood frame with a wire screen, but I’ve also covered that in plastic sheet.

What do you mean when you say “put a piece on the front with just a small opening”? I’m having trouble visualizing it. I like the idea of making a heated night box. I will work on that.

Yes, the walls are covered in heavy duty plastic sheets. Its wrapped around with chicken wire since that was the home our rabbit used to live in.

I recently got a redfoot tortoise and was curious to see if it is old enough to tell. To me, it looks like a female, but from what I read, they all kinda look like females until you can properly tell.
