Wow thanks for the input everyone!
I can use paint or pencils but id rather draw it. Its for art appreciation so it doesnt have to be fancy lol. i did take drawing hoping to bypass it but i ended up having to take it anyways lol.
I do like the flower one but, as wellington said, it would look...
Soooo... I have an art project soon and i wanted to draw a picture of my tortoise!
Today was nice outside and the sunlight wasnt too bright so we had a photo shoot! He didnt like it one bit! Lol I only got 3 good ones but was also thinking about pictures from the past.
I think theyre all good...
Re: RE: What does your tortoise do all day?
It would be cute to see a tort "sit" on command. Think of how much easier taking pictures would be! Lol
How could you tell he was happy? Was he....mounting it?
Weird question: would they be interested in dog or cat toys? Like the ones that squeak...
first off im sorry if i hit a nerve. I was just worried about how my russian was feeling being forced into water...

when you make a puddle doesnt the water get dirty? I know they arent the cleanest animals out there but wouldnt consuming soiled water harm them? The same...
Last month i couldnt find my baby but it turns out he never left.
Why do you think he escaped? What kind is he and how long have you noticed he was missing.
Hope he comes back soon!
Re: RE: What does your tortoise do all day?
is this for some kind of research project? Do they enjoy the toys or just ignore them lol
Would you mind sharing what you have found?
hi! Cute name! Reminds me of the mr. Feeny from boy meets world! Lol
I love the picture of him eating. It almost looks like hes waiting patiently for you to leave so he can finish lol
could this be like older or stray cats hating being bathed but if you give kittens baths they will grow to love it?
Also how much is too much? Is there a certain point where you should just STOP offering baths? My russian just seems to scramble to get out and i feel like im traumatizing him :(
I knew animals adapted but i figured it was over many generations and such. certain mutations helped them survive and things they learned were taught and kept getting improved over time.
What i didnt know was that it happened so fast. i always pictured animals changing over thousands or billions...
