I don't own a tortoise yet so I could be completely wrong but I think your cage is really small and his beak looks really big what are you feeding him on?
I know they say not to use glass is this "murky" enough for that to not be a problem or should I paint it so it can't see threw? also is it alright to use this for a small tortoise.
