A 2 x 5 ft enclosure is too small for a 12-inch Red-foot tortoise. An 8 x 4 ft enclosure wouldn't be enough. It should be permanently housed outside in their own outdoor enclosure with an overnight heated hide box. can't do this live in Michigan over here it either snowing or the sun is killing...
