Hi everyone, ok here's a little update. I been giving my tortoise more frequent baths and upgraded my heat lamps and so far no more odd color fluids. I will be looking to change the bedding just doing more research on the options given to me during this blog. Thanks all :)
Ok I'm going to 100% get a sample to a lab. Now with the crushed walnuts, if that's not a good bedding what do you recommend ? Your all awesome with the help.
The sand is crushed walnut shells, I was told that's good. Is it not? I'm going to search for a reptile vet. Ill keep you all posted. Thanks for your help.
My russian tortoise passed this thick mucus looking substance which was out of the ordinary. The color was not the milky color everyone talks about, it had like a dark look to it. Check it out and let me know what you feel it mite be. Thank you all
Hi, after upgrading my Russian tortoise tank from a 20gallon to a 40 gallon tank( used) it seems to not be eating and is also not as active. Can this be a result of the tank change, keep in mind I also changed the log it goes under to. Thank you all
