    Substrate for redfoot outdoors

I do have one question. If I wanted to keep them outside year round there would be times they would have to be confined to their boxes due to cool temps. Would I need some sort of light source for them? I know red foots don't require too much light and prefer shaded areas but would they need any...

    Substrate for redfoot outdoors

Hi. Thank you. I apologize I am at work and I don't have pictures with me. The sides of the enclosures are wood and I use the bottom half of a large canine airline crate turned upside down as their hides. I can attach some photos this evening. Provided it's not pouring rain 🙄.

    Red foot enclosure question

So I am building a new enclosure for my male red foot. He is 10" at this point. I have read some of the previous posts on red foot enclosures and see the recommended size is 8' x 4'. My question is would a 6.6 x 6.6' work? Thanks for any input and advice. Jenny & Crash 🐢

    Introducing my 2 Aldabras

Oh wow! I have never seen baby Aldabras. I once worked at a spot in Florida and we had a male and female that rescued from a circus where they were forced to give rides to children. The female was somewhere in the 300 pound range and the male in the 500 pound range. The most surprising thing...

    Healthy and happy?

Thank you so much! I love them and am constantly striving to learn everything I can to provide them the best care. I am so happy to have found this forum. There is truly so much conflicting information out there and it is hard to know what if any is correct. I feel confident that I can get the...
