    Cherry head or not?

Thank you so much! Her personality is absolutely intoxicating too, she got a worm for the first time yesterday and loved hunting it down haha

    Cherry head or not?

Is this better for their nose scales? Her head scales look so dry and almost burnt to me. I'm interested to see what they look like after more time in humidity and maybe a shed.

    Cherry head or not?

Its so interesting the variations that are possible! This one does have a red tail from above. I wonder if their colouring is diluted from poor care previous? Or maybe needs to shed.

    Cherry head or not?

Ok I know this is asked a lot but I'm curious on opinions. We acquired Nebbie from a rough spot in a 25 gallon tank with 2 other redfoots twice her size, no sign of humidity and vet immediately dx a LRI. She's on injections now. I was told she is a cherry head. What are your thoughts? (Pics...

Could you create a humid hide for them? And maybe soak their enclosure throughout the day.

    Conflicting Staple fruits

I think maybe the confusion arises from comparing a staple every day food vs a staple fruit fed on fruit days. Fruit shouldn't be fed daily and should only make up about 15% of their total diet. Greens and veggies being 75% and protein as 10%. (See attached photo for reference) So no fruit...

Are these plants safe to be growing in my yard that Tortoise has access to? Thanks

Hey! Judging by the flower on the first two it looks like Prairie Verbena, on tortoise table verbena is a moderate feed. The second looks like a spider plant which is safe. Hope this helps! Jesse

New Tortoise Mom in Ontario, Canada

Hi everyone, After a great deal of research and convincing my family I am not crazy. My hubby adopted a 4 month old Eastern Hermann's tortoise for me in May. We named him Pete Moss(we don't know if he's a he but its stuck now lol) and dare I admit I love him more than anything? (Maybe not my son...
